Kyle began playing piano in the third grade after discovering his ability to memorize tones and relationships between pitches, and quickly started compiling his own small pieces. Adding bass and guitar to his resume due to the instrumental need in an early high school band (then with longtime friend Colin Huntington), full band compositions began to take flight. After tiring of unsuccessful solo endeavors, He shifted his moniker to The Picture Perfect, and thus the project was formed. Kyle enjoys show tunes, peanut butter, and his cat Mila.
